I can still remember one of my son’s birthday parties. A group of boys were sitting around my kitchen table, before heading out to a movie. All of a sudden, the conversation turned to books and what each of the boys was reading. Keep in mind, this was without any adult involvement, this was a group of adolescent boys, talking about books! It was all I could do to bite my tongue and just listen. So exciting and so rare!
