I have loved reading your posts about Johnny. I feel very optimistic that, when the time is right, books and reading will be important to him. As a mom to two boys (actually “young men” is probably more accurate, both are over 6′ tall now), I can tell you that hearing them talk about books with their friends always pulls at my heartstrings. Nothing makes books and reading more credible to a teenage boy than another boy’s endorsement.
