Carolyn Hart’s Growing and Learning Green Workshop for Teachers, Parents and Librarians
There are many new and exciting children’s books that help children discover ways to care for our world. From the start, children should be encouraged to reduce, reuse and recycle, Whether planning a classroom Earth Day celebration or a unit about ecological issues, our Growing and Learning Green Workshop will help. Introducing a variety of new picture books that stimulate environmental awareness, the workshop includes crafts and other ideas for promoting a ”green” attitude with young children.
Growing and Learning Green Workshop for Educators attendees receive a multi-page summary of all important content and an extensive book list featuring cover art, title, author/illustrator, ISBN codes and tags. If requested, certificates of attendance are available.
